Visiting the wonders of India.

India proved to be the trickiest to visit out of all the countries in our West-Asia tour. But I am definitely glad that we stuck with it.

I was stationed in South Korea as a US Citizen and had to go to the Indian Embassy in Seoul to get my visa. After Rac got her visa, we then researched on the attractions and cities we want to visit in our very limited time there. See in most countries we visit, we like to explore on our own and not be part of an organized tour but with four days and hundreds of miles to cover, we decided to ask the help of a friend.

My friend Sheena is Indian-Filipina and owns a travel agency that specializes in tours in India. We reached out to her and together, we worked out an itinerary that was a whirlwind tour of Delhi and Agra. We saw the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Lotus Temple and many other epic monuments. We also managed to go shopping in Delhi, get a traditional Henna tattoo, watch an Indian musical, experience traditional Indian craftsmanship and of course, gorge on great Indian food! Everything in the tour went perfectly as all our guides, drivers and hotel managers really went out of their way to make our whole trip special. Thanks again Sheens!

Four days, heck, even four months is not enough to take in all of India. We will definitely be back!
